We handle the processing of our beef from weaning all the way to your individual order. We only offer beef that meets our strict core philosophy. Which means our cattle are raised in a sustainable manner and in their most natural setting – on pasture – in the open air and sunshine free from growth stimulants and antibiotics.
OUR PARTNERS
Most small-scale ranchers are at the mercy of the industrialized beef production model. Our desire is to place freedom and control back into these family’s hands. Therefore, we partner with like-minded ranchers who are committed to raising cattle in a way that lines up with our philosophy. We hand select weaned calves from these partners and offer them consistent pricing in an ever changing cattle market.
OUR PRODUCTION
Calves are moved to our ranch, where they graze native pasture. We truly see that we have “happy cattle.” To us, “happy cattle” is not a marketing scheme; it’s our reality. As a result, our herd is far healthier than their feedlot raised counterparts, both for you and for them. Their diet is 95% grass based. The primary ration is comprised of fresh grass and high quality hay, and a small legume based (rather than grain) ration is supplemented to increase protein intake. They remain in our pastures until they reach their ideal finished condition.
OUR PRODUCT
We oversee every step from our farm to your freezer. We use the time-honored tradition of dry-aging for a optimal flavor and tenderness of the beef. Meat is then custom cut and packaged for you by a local artisan butcher.
